The TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon has opened registration for its 2027 edition, which will take place next March 7, with a historic expansion to 14,000 bib numbers after reaching 12,000 participants in 2026.

The organizers are launching an initial promotional tier of €23 plus federation license, available until the first 2,000 registered runners are completed or until March 26, in an edition that once again anticipates high demand after selling out more than two months in advance last year.

One of the major attractions of the race continues to be its course, now established as one of the fastest in Europe: completely flat, at sea level and with the Mediterranean as the main feature, an ideal setting for both recreational runners and elite athletes.

The last editions, both with the new course, have confirmed that potential with outstanding times such as the 58:27 by Gilbert Kipkosgei (course record in 2025) or the 59:30 by Vincent Kipkorir in 2026. In the women's field, standout performances include 1:05:46 by Loice Chemnung and 1:06:33 by Esther Chebet.

The growth of the event is also reflected in its international profile: 49% foreign runners, 37% female participation and more than 90 nationalities, figures that place Málaga among the most attractive half marathons on the European calendar.
