We recommend using public transport via the Málaga Metro, the Urban Bus Service and Renfe Commuter Rail. If you come by private car, we recommend arriving earlier to avoid congestion in the organization’s recommended Parking areas.
The Málaga Metro, as a sponsor of the TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon, will invite participants in the race to travel for free on the Metro on race day.
All registered runners can collect 1 ticket (round trip) at the Metro de Málaga stand at the Runner Expo, valid for March 15, 2026.
*Important: the Metro de Málaga ticket is not included in the Runner’s Bag, it will be given free of charge at the Metro de Málaga Stand
The Atarazanas stop on lines 1 and 2 of the Málaga Metro is near the Start and Finish Area of the TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon.
The metro is the fastest and safest option to reach the race start and to leave the area once you finish the race if you are in the city of Málaga.
Both to access the start line and to leave the Finish area once you cross the finish line, practically all urban bus lines have a stop near the Start and Finish line of the Marathon.
Keep in mind that between 8:00 and 11:30 in the morning many streets will be closed due to the Half Marathon.
The Málaga RENFE Commuter service has a C1 line stop near the Start and Finish Area of the TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon.
The closest stop is Málaga Centro-Alameda on lines C1 and C2.
