REGULATIONS 2026

ARTICLE 1: NAME AND ORGANIZATION

The Asociación Deportiva Málaga Sport and Eventos Deportivos Málaga Sport organize the 2nd La Caixa de Málaga Kids Race, to be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., in which all children under 14 years old who wish may take part without any distinction.

ARTICLE 2. DATE, TIME AND VENUE

The races will start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, on the Paseo de Levante, in front of the Málaga cruise terminal, next to the TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon Runner Expo. (between the last two roundabouts of the Paseo de Levante).

The first race to be held will be the “chupetines” category at 10:30 a.m., followed consecutively by all remaining categories (Sub 4, Sub 6, Sub 8, Sub 10, Sub 12 and Sub 14 in this order), finishing the kids races at 11:30.

ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION

All children under 14 years old who wish may participate without any distinction. The maximum number of participants will be set at 500.

ARTICLE 4. CATEGORIES

Chupetines: born in 2024 onwards.
Sub 4: born in 2022 and 2023.
Sub 6: born in 2020 and 2021.
Sub 8: born in 2018 and 2019.
Sub 10: born in 2016 and 2017.
Sub 12: born in 2014 and 2015.
Sub 14: born in 2012 and 2013.

ARTICLE 5. DISTANCES

The distances will be adapted to the ages of the children, and for each age group, they will be:

Chupetines: 50 meters
Sub 4: 50 meters
Sub 6: 100 meters
Sub 8: 200 meters
Sub 10: 300 meters
Sub 12: 500 meters
Sub 14: 800 meters.

ARTICLE 6. REGISTRATION

From February 25, 2026 to March 12, 2026; or until the 500 available slots are filled. Registration will be free of charge; through the following link:

ARTICLE 7. BIB PICK-UP

For the Kids categories, the race bib must be collected upon presentation of the registration receipt at the TotalEnergies Málaga Half Marathon Runner Expo throughout Friday, March 13, at the designated counters in the Half Marathon Expo (from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) or on Saturday, March 14, in the Kids Races start area (in front of the cruise terminal) from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

ARTICLE 8. PARENTAL AUTHORIZATION

It is mandatory to fill out the parental authorization form for participation in this race, which must be presented when collecting the bibs.

ARTICLE 9. CONSENT FOR PUBLICATION (DATA PROTECTION POLICY)

In compliance with Article 5 of the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights, we inform you that your personal data will be processed and incorporated into files under the responsibility of the Asociación Deportiva Málaga Sport and Eventos Deportivos Málaga Sport, registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The collection and processing of personal data, incorporated into these files, is intended for the registration of participants, as well as to inform them about all matters related to the “La Caixa de Málaga Kids Races”.

The Asociación Deportiva Málaga Sport and Eventos Deportivos Málaga Sport undertake to comply with the obligations regarding technical, organizational, and security measures established in the Regulations implementing Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights.

The personal data provided, as well as any possible images and videos captured during the event, will be used for the purposes of the event itself, as well as for its dissemination.

By completing the registration, you declare that you have been informed of the terms contained herein and expressly consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes stated.
