The 30th edition of the "CaixaBank Ciudad de Málaga" Half Marathon offers people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in the race, whether they do it in a wheelchair or on foot, according to the following rules:
Four male and female categories have been established:
Disabled on foot, sensory.
Disabled on foot, functional.
Disabled on foot, intellectuals.
Disabled in wheelchairs.
Disabled participants on foot, in addition to this classification, will also be enrolled in the overall rankings of the event.
The registration fee is set at €8.00 for each of these categories. In the case of disabled participants that need a guide, the guide's registration will be completely free, although the registration form must be processed.
People who participate in wheelchairs will leave from the "ADVANCED" starting line, while the rest of the participants with disabilities will leave from their corresponding starting area according to the accredited brand.
Participants who register under the categories "Disabled in a Wheelchair" and "Disabled on Foot" must formalise their registration according to the procedures established in the general terms for the "CaixaBank Ciudad de Málaga" Half Marathon, and submit a verdict issued by the Andalusian Federation of Sport recognising the degree of disability that is applicable, through the Half Marathon's registration platform DEPORTICKET.COM, specifying the category in which they want to participate.

Each blind or visually impaired participant (B2) that requires one, is entitled to the accompaniment of a guide, whose registration will be completely free. There can only be one guide for each athlete with a visual disability.
To be registered in the "Wheelchair Handicapped" category, and therefore be eligible for this category's prizes, the chair must meet the conditions established for athletics events, specified in the Athletics Regulations of the International Paralympic Committee (Rule No. 14).
Participants that use a HANDBIKE and CHAIRS with other materials, mechanisms, gears or levers that can be used to drive the chair will not be able to register in the Wheelchair Category, nor be eligible for this category's prizes.
For technical, logistical and security reasons, the participants in the wheelchair category will not be allowed to surpass the Race Management's car.
Those enrolled in the various Disabled Persons on Foot categories may be part of a team from the Awards for Club's section.
Trophies will be awarded to the first three ranked participants in each category.
A commemorative medal will be given to every participant that finishes the race.
Everything not included in these regulations will be subject to the general terms set forth in the Rules of the "CaixaBank Ciudad de Málaga" Half Marathon.
