The XXX Theater Soho-CaixaBank Ciudad de Málaga Half Marathon, will be held on Sunday 22 November 2020, at 9.30am.
The distance to be covered will be 21.097km, on a circuit measured by the F.A.A., in which any person, affiliated or not, can take part, provided that they are 18 years old on the day of the race.
The XXX Theater Soho-CaixaBank Ciudad de Málaga Half Marathon is included in the Andalusian Federation of Sports calendar and controlled by the Colegio Provincial de Jueces. All complaints will be addressed to the Event Judge, up to 30 minutes after the results are announced.
Acceptance of each distance group will successively close going by its length in kilometres: 5, 10, 15, 20 and the full distance. Participants are able to use a maximum time of 40m, 1h20m, 2h, 2h40m and 2h50m, respectively. If a participant exceeds the expected race time, they will be overtaken by the support vehicle indicating the end of their race, and the participant must retire from the race. If they continue, they will do so, taking full responsibility for themselves and complying with the traffic signs and rules, just as with any other user.
Supply stations with water and/or isotonic drinks will be located at the 5, 10, 13, 16 and 19km points.
The Organisation has: Coat check, Medical Services, Podiatry Services and Massage for participants.
Any clarification of the race regulations will be made by the Race Organisation. Any manipulation, alteration or falsification of personal data of the registered athlete, will result in eminent disqualification. The bib cannot be cut or folded, and must be spread out fully on the athlete's chest.
All officially registered participants will be covered by an Insurance Policy, agreed to by the Organisation, which will cover accidents that occur as a direct result of the event but never as the cause of a condition, latent defect, imprudence, negligence, failure to observe the laws and articles of this Regulation, etc.; nor those produced in the travel/movement to and from the place where the race is held.
The Organisation is not responsible for any damage that it may cause, or may be caused by participants due to imprudence or negligence. Likewise, the athlete declares themselves to be in optimum physical condition to perform in the races and does so at his/her own risk, exempting the Race Organisation from all. Enrolling in this race implies full acceptance of these rules.
The only vehicles authorised to follow the race will be those designated by the Organisation. Local Police will punish those drivers who break these rules.
The categories, for the sole purpose of obtaining results, are adjusted to those currently in force by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.
